Police Blotter: Prisoner Lacking in Restroom Manners

A woman released from the city jail on Dec. 7 hung around the lobby for 45 minutes and then refused to leave the restroom, where she washed her face in the sink and got water all over the floor. Police said that while in her jail cell, the woman drank water out of the toilet.

A Summit Drive resident complained at 11:22 p.m. Dec. 8 that a dog tied to a tree had been barking all day. Police told the dog's owner to take the animal inside.

A woman said she had a road rage incident at about 6 p.m. Dec. 7 with a man who was screaming at her under the Interstate 271 bridges at Mayfield Road. She said he followed her home and sat in his car as she went inside.

A Golden Gate Boulevard woman called police at 1:38 p.m. Dec. 7 and said she sent $280 to a loan company that wouldn't give her a loan or return the money. She thought it might be a scam.
