Police Blotter: Resident Discovers It's Going to be Tougher to Collect Leaves

A Crestwood Road resident called at 2:39 p.m. Oct. 17 to report that a backpack blower had been stolen sometime since June.

An East Miner Road woman came to the police station at 4:26 a.m. Oct. 18 because her landlord kicked her out of his house. All of her property was inside and she wanted help getting it. She was told to return at a reasonable hour and an officer would escort her.

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a car that was parked at 6:32 p.m. Oct. 17 on SOM Center Road.

The manager of on SOM Center Road called police at 3:27 p.m. Oct. 17 about an online order that had some red flags. The $1,200 order for a MacBook was done with a out of state credit card that had been reported stolen. The man who placed the order came to pick up the computer and was arrested and charged with fraud.

Three juveniles who had been asked not to return were spotted at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 16 at a SOM Center Road store. Police escorted them off the property and warned they would be arrested for trespassing if they returned.
