Police Blotter: Suspcious Man was on His Way to Therapist

A man wearing a camouflage backpack and large headphones as if for use at a shooting range was driving erratically at 2:04 p.m. March 16 on Wilson Mills Road, a caller reported. Police tracked down the man at his therapist's office and said everything checked OK.

Police went to Derby Drive at 8:39 p.m. March 18 to check on a car that was in the area all evening. The owner said he was looking for scrap metal in trash and an officer told him to move along.

A caller said a green van was driving all over the road and speeding at 12:25 a.m. March 19 at SOM Center and Wilson Mills roads. Police were unable to find the van.

A resident stopped an officer at 7:51 p.m March 17 to mention the potholes on Village Trail were a concern. A dispatcher relayed the information to the service department.
