Police Blotter: Suspicious Man By Gas Well was Employee

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department.

A suspicious car was reported at 12:38 a.m. Dec. 27 near the gas well site on Brigham Road. The car's driver was an employee of the gas well company.

An Old Mill Road man called at 7:33 p.m. Dec. 28 to file a missing person report about his wife, who left several hours earlier to pick up food in Beachwood. She returned home at 8:47 p.m. 

A caller at 5:59 p.m. Dec. 30 reported a possible intoxicated man walking on Mayfield Road. The 40-year-old Mayfield Heights man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

A County Line Road resident called police at 11:47 p.m. Dec. 31 and reported hearing gunshots or fireworks in the area. Officers checked and said fireworks were being set off somewhere in Chesterland.
