Police Blotter: Suspicious Man Was Hanging Out Because Car Wouldn't Start

A cashier at a Wilson Mills Road gas station was closing up for the night at 10:05 p.m. Feb. 29 when she noticed a man sitting in a silver car who wasn't pumping gas, but wasn't leaving either. Police said the man's car wasn't working and he was going to call for help if it didn't start again within 10 minutes.

Eastlake police recovered a gun at 7:02 p.m. Feb. 28 that had been reported stolen in Highland Heights.

A Highland Road woman called police at 3:37 a.m. Feb. 29 after hearing boxes falling in her garage. Police said the garage checked OK.

A Cranbrook Drive man reported at 9:03 a.m. Feb. 27 that a skunk was living under a shed in his backyard.
