Police Blotter: Teacher Reported Reckless Driver in Parking Lot

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department.

A teacher at St. Francis of Assisi school called 911 at 3:04 p.m. March 28 about a car being operated recklessly in the school's parking lot. Police checked, but were unable to find the car.

A Battles Road resident called police at 12:08 p.m. March 26 about a suspicious person at the house across the street. Police checked and said the woman had permission to be on the property.

A caller at 8:42 p.m. March 27 said a driver was traveling erratically in the westbound lanes of Mayfield Road. Police were unable to find the car.

An accident was reported at 4:09 p.m. March 29 on SOM Center Road. No one was injured in the two-car crash. One of the drivers, an 18-year-old Richmond Heights man, was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
