Police Blotter: Thieves Moved Other Car to Take Dodge Caliber

A white 2007 Dodge Caliber was reported stolen at 7:29 a.m. Dec. 26 on Highland Road. The caller, who said it was his wife's car, said his 1998 Ford was moved in order to get the stolen car out of the drive.
A Williamsburg Drive resident called police at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 25 after hearing a loud boom and then seeing that a mailbox had been hit by a car.
A caller complained at 6:36 p.m. Dec. 24 that numerous cars were parking on the wrong side of Lynden Drive. Police talked to a homeowner who said he would have the cars moved.
A 911 hangup call was received at 2:57 p.m. Dec. 24 from an East Glengary residence. A second caller said a man was at the house and refused to leave. Police were told that the man was not intoxicated and the owner of the house has a permit to carry a concealed weapon. The man who was causing the disturbance left.
A suspicious man was reported at 3:04 a.m. Dec. 24 walking just east of the police station on Highland Road. He was arrested for public intoxication.
