Police Blotter: Underage Party Broken Up at Hotel

The manager of Comfort Inn reported at 11:25 p.m. Dec. 27 that there was underage drinking and smoking in a couple of rooms. About eight girls were outside of one door and the manager stopped four who tried to get in. Five girls were stopped by police and then another five came down a stairwell. A 17-year-old boy was also stopped and his was picked up by his mother. Police said about 30 people were sent on their way, with three girls and a boy brought back to police station to arrange for rides.
A truck hit a wall on Interstate 271 after being hit by a tractor-trailer at 9 p.m. Dec. 27. The truck was towed and the driver was taken to a hotel.
A Longwood Drive woman called police at 6:08 p.m. Dec. 27 and said she was attacked by her baby's dad. She went to Hillcrest Hospital for treatment and was told to file a report.
Numerous callers at about 2:53 p.m. Dec. 27 reported an altercation between a pedestrian and the driver of a silver sport utility vehicle at Mayfield and SOM Center roads.
