Police Blotter: Wilson Mills Resident has had Enough of Raccoons, Deer

A Wilson Mills Road man called at 9:25 a.m. May 21 and said raccoons were tearing into his garbage. A dispatcher suggested he secure his garage so raccoons couldn't get to it and also gave him the phone number of animal control service. That didn't satisfy the caller, who wanted to know if he could get a trap and euthanize the animals himself. He was told no. Then he mentioned he also had a deer problem and wanted to know what he could do about that. The dispatcher again referred him to the animal control service.
A man wearing shorts and without shoes or a shirt was shouting profanities, flipping people off and throwing mulch at 3:33 p.m. May 22 in the parking lot of on Wilson Mills Road. Police caught up with the man on Alpha Drive and he was taken to Hillcrest Hospital for a mental evaluation.
A person came to the police station at 2:41 p.m. May 20 to report a wallet lost at Kohl's and brought along a child who hit his head in the report room. The boy was brought an ice pack from the fire department.
Police asked the event coordinator at St. Paschal to turn off the music and stop the rides at 11:14 p.m. May 19.
A woman was arrested at 1:23 a.m. May 20 at Kenbridge Drive and Bishop Road and was charged with weaving and operating a vehicle under the influence.
