Police Blotter: Woman Causes a Scene Because She Can't Pump Gas

A Mayfield Road gas station employee called police at 4:07 p.m. March 13 because a customer was causing a disturbance. The woman was sprayed with gas and there was nothing the business could do about it. She then insisted that someone pump gas for her. She was told she had to pump her own gas or leave and she chose to leave.
A caller at 12 a.m. March 13 said a man kept walking up and down Commonwealth Avenue with a flashlight. He was looking for his cat.
A woman thought her car had been stolen in the Hillcrest Hospital parking garage at 11:33 p.m. March 12. The car was found in the garage and no report was filed.
A Washington Boulevard woman called at 3:13 p.m. March 12 after hearing some sort of a gunshot. She then noticed that someone shot a squirrel with a BB gun. Police talked to a man who said he was shooting at squirrels because they have been damaging his garden.
A caller at 4:40 p.m. March 11 said two males were in the front yard with pepper spray on Longridge Road. The suspects left and the resident did not want to file charges.
A man reported at 5:56 p.m. March 10 that someone broke into his storage unit on Mayfield Road.
A Golden Gate Boulevard woman called at 12:14 a.m. March 10 and said a woman just stole a 32-inch Sanyo flatscreen TV from inside her house. She said they used to be friends. Police met with the woman and helped her get the TV back and both women were sent on their way.
