Police Blotter: Woman Said Neighbor Hides in Bushes to Yell at Her

A Lander Road woman called at 7:42 a.m. Jan. 20 and said a neighbor who is harassing her hides in bushes and comes out yelling or with his hands on his hips. She said the man yells at her sister when she comes over.

A Hawthorne Drive woman reported at 12:27 a.m. Jan. 20 that she saw the shadow of someone throwing snowballs at her bedroom window. Police said someone was cleaning sidewalks with a snowblower and snow hit the woman's window.

A Lander Road woman called at 8:10 p.m. Jan. 19 and said a man attempted to break into her garage on Jan. 5 and was in her garage again that day. An officer called the man and told him to stay away from the residence.

A Commonwealth Avenue man called at 2:16 p.m. Jan. 19 said someone threw a pop bottle against the house and put trash all over his sister's car. Police said there was no damage to the car and an officer spoke to a suspect and told him to stay away.

A Roselawn Road woman called at 11:28 a.m. Jan. 19 and said her alcoholic son got out of rehab and called her because he had nowhere else to go. She didn't want him there and is afraid of him.
