Police Blotter: Woman Worried About Size of Neighbor's Fire

A Battles Road resident complained at 6:45 p.m. April 6 about open burning. She was worried about the size of the pile her neighbor had set ablaze. An officer talked to the neighbor, who then put out the fire.
A 911 caller at 10:32 p.m. April 2 reported suspicious circumstances on Cedar Road. He was at a Mayfield Heights restaurant and noticed several men around his car and was concerned that they might have followed him home. An officer checked the area and saw nothing unusual.
A man called 911 at 9:21 p.m. April 3 to report that his car had been damaged. He was visiting a woman on Timberidge Trail and said she hit his car with a leaf blower. After police talked to both of them, the man decided he didn't want to pursue criminal charges.

A Chartley Road woman called 911 at 9:33 a.m. April 6 to report a suspicious person in her garage. The man was a phone company worker and had permission to be on the property.
