Possible SWAT Standoff In Lyndhurst

LYNDHURST, OH — SWAT units were called to a possible standoff on Thursday morning in Lyndhurst. According to police, a man barricaded himself inside a home. The scene has since been cleared by officers.

At 1:50 a.m., callers reported shots fired on Gordon Road. Officers in the area heard the shots as well, according to News 5.

Police made contact with a man inside the home on Gordon. The man then barricaded himself inside.

A woman was able to leave the house safely.

While SWAT and crisis negotiators were called to the scene, the area has since been cleared by police.
