Sandwich Chain Opens First Location In Willoughby

And a pair of business partners are bringing the franchise to the city.

WILLOUGHBY, OH — Firehouse Subs will open its first Willoughby location on May 11. The new location will be at 36161 Euclid Avenue.

The franchise is being opened by business partners Nick Kalafatis and Chris Compton. The pair own the only other east side Firehouse Subs, which is in Mayfield Heights.

“After being involved in the restaurant industry for years, we chose to join the Firehouse Subs family because we wanted something to call our own that our families could also be involved in,” said Kalafatis. “We connected to the family-owned brand and entire concept immediately – from the friendly atmosphere and high-quality food, to the brand’s commitment to serving the local community.”
