Three Candidates File for Mayfield Heights Mayor
Who do you think would make the best mayor for Mayfield Heights?
The Mayfield Heights mayoral election is officially a three-candidate race.
Three candidates met the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections' filing deadline late last week to try to win the city's seat of mayor in the November election.
- Mayfield Heights Council President Diane Snider filed on Aug. 7 to run. She has been on council for 12 years.
- Current Mayor Anthony DiCicco also filed on Aug. 7. He was named mayor earlier this year after Greg Costabile pleaded guilty to ethics charges.
- Mayfield Heights Council President Pro Tem Donna Finney was the first to file in July. She or Snider could be the city's second-ever female mayor. Margaret Egensperger served from 1994 to 2005.
