5 Shaker Heights Students Sign Letters Of Intent

The students will continue their athletic careers at schools like the University of Kentucky, Michigan State and Long Island University.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Last week, five seniors at Shaker Heights High School signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at their chosen colleges. The students were part of the early signing period of NCAA, which takes place from Nov. 8 through Nov. 15. Additional signings could be on the way for Shaker Heights students.

The five students that signed early are:

  • Dale Bonner, Fairmount State University (basketball)
  • Sophie Carrier, University of Kentucky (Cross Country, track)
  • Josie Lowell, University of Vermont (lacrosse)
  • Lori Mack, Michigan State University (field hockey)
  • Macie Madden, Long Island University (swimming)

Football signings will be held in mid-December according to Don Readance, Shaker Heights High athletic director.
