Another Garfield Heights Bank Robbed, Suspect At-Large

The FBI is asking the public for help finding the man that robbed First Federal of Lakewood on Rockside Road on Monday.

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — An unidentified man robbed the First Federal of Lakewood bank in Garfield Heights on Monday afternoon. The FBI is now asking the public for help finding the suspect.

At 3 p.m. on Monday, the suspect walked into the bank on Rockside Road and handed a demand note to a teller. The note said the man was robbing the bank. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

After getting the cash, the man left the bank. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The FBI believes the suspect may have been responsible for the robbery of the Catholic Credit Union in Garfield Heights in mid-April.

The suspect is a white man, between the ages of 45 and 52 years of age. He stands about 6 feet tall and has a slender build, with short, brown hair. The man was clean shaven. The FBI said he work dark sunglasses during the robbery.

Anyone with information on the suspect should call the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400, the Garfield Police Department at 216-475-1234 or Crime Stoppers. Reward money is available and tips can remain anonymous.
