Artists Asked To Design Shaker Heights Utility Boxes

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Heights Art Council announced its next project this week: Building Blocks. Artists who live in Shaker can propose designs for utility boxes throughout the city.

Building Blocks will be a juried art competition. Shaker artists will be asked to design utility boxes in residential neighborhoods through the city.

Artists must be 21 or older and live or work in Shaker Heights, or the Shaker Heights Schools. All designs and applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on May 1.
