Books and Betrayals: A Virtual Murder Mystery Game

Calling all super sleuths. Join us beginning January 25 to solve the mystery

Good gracious! A murder has been committed at the Shaker Library and the Youth Services staff needs your help to solve it. Until recently, Shaker Library thought it had a model staff: kind, helpful, and definitely NOT the murdering type. That is, until late one evening when they found someone had committed a horrible crime. Ms. Olivia Hall had been murdered. The tragic victim was a beloved librarian described by some as "quite a talker." Well, she's not talking now.

The staff has a list of suspects who were at the library on the night of the murder: Mary Applegarden, Miles Eaton, Mariah West, and Francine Earthby, and each has an “alibi." Help unravel the mystery and nail the perpetrator so he can be "booked."

Join in the virtual perp walk, Books and Betrayals, online at 6 pm Mondays and Thursdays beginning January 25 and work your way through the clues and read the interviews with the suspects. Watch the first episode on YouTube. Vote online or in-person to participate in this classic “whodunit” murder-mystery game. You decide how the story ends. Will you unmask the killer, or will someone get away with murder?
