Construction Projects Could Impact East Side Drivers

Projects on I-90 and SR 176 could mess with your plans. Plan around the upcoming work.

CLEVELAND — There are several upcoming projects that could impact east side drivers that commute into Cleveland. ODOT said work will be done this week on I-90 exit ramps and a SR 176 bridge deck.

First, overnight on Wednesday and Thursday, crews will close the I-90 east exit ramps to E. 185th Street and E. 200th Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Workers will be performing bridge demolition operations, ODOT said. The ramps will not be closed at the same time. Drivers that want to exit at E. 185th will be detoured to E. 200, and driver that want to exit on E. 200 will be detoured to E. 222.

Also starting overnight on Wednesday, crews will close I-90 east/I-490 west's access to SR 176 for a bridge deck replacement. The access will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. so crews can work.
