Eastside Advanced Toastmasters conveys Educational Awards

Euclid Public Library, Euclid Ohio - With hard work, sacrifice, and a support system of experienced colleagues, three members of the Eastside Advanced Toastmasters Club of Euclid, Ohio recently earned awards within the club.

Mark Timm of Painesville earned a new Competent Communicator in June. Patricia Spayer of Garfield Heights earned a new Advanced Communicator Silver award in July. Craig Gerlock of Macedonia earned an Advanced Leader Bronze award in July.

These are but three of eight individual accomplishments achieved in a club where members combine fun with learning in a mutually supportive environment.

“We are here to enjoy our time together and have fun,” said club president Marilyn Burns, of Shaker Heights. “Our meetings are the place where skills are expanded and reinvented. If you are looking to experience personal growth, then do we have a club for you.”

Knowing this inspired history is only the beginning. Patricia, Marilyn, Mark, and Craig joined Eastside Advanced Toastmasters Club to share the excitement of speaking and experiencing our stories with others.

Toastmasters affords the opportunity to practice speaking difficult or lengthy speeches while growing with candid, serious, and fun feedback.

Euclid Public Library hosts Eastside Advanced Toastmasters Club at 631 East 222nd Street in Euclid on the first Monday of most months. The meetings take place from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm.
