Fatal Stabbing At Academy Tavern On Larchmere
Police said a dispute between kitchen workers became deadly on Saturday night.

CLEVELAND — One person is dead after a knife fight started inside the kitchen at Academy Tavern on Larchmere on Saturday night. Two people have been arrested in connection to the death, police said.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to Academy Tavern for reports of a wounded man. When officers arrived they found a 23-year-old man bleeding outside. Police administered first aid until EMS arrived and rushed him to University Hospitals.
The 23-year-old was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Investigators discovered that the 23-year-old had been working in Academy's kitchen. While working, an argument started between the 23-year-old and two of his coworkers. The argument quickly became physical and spilled outside of the restaurant.

During the fight, the 23-year-old was stabbed. The wound proved to be fatal, police said.
The two suspects in the stabbing are Omar Calloway, 24, and Jeremy Calloway, 27. Before police arrived, Omar took off. Jeremy was found on the scene, with a cut on his leg. He was treated at University Hospitals and then arrested.
Omar returned to Academy Tavern and was arrested, police said. He told police he had injured his shoulder and was also treated and released from a hospital.
Cleveland Police said they are still investigating the incident.
