The Cleveland Classical Guitar Society presents Maciej Frackiewicz, accordion, and Lukasz Kuropaczewski, guitar, in their Cleveland debut as duo on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Lukasz Kuropaczewski stunned Cleveland audiences with a 2014 solo debut full of intensity, energy and emotion. He now returns with Polish accordionist Maciej Frackiewicz in an eclectic program that will redefine the boundaries of chamber music!

Maciej Frackiewicz, Among his many accomplishments one may find “Polityka’s Passport” award (2013) and 1st prize at the prestigious “Arrasate Hiria” International Accordion Competition in Spain (2012). His exceptional sensitivity to music cannot stay unnoticed, which makes this duo a perfect pairing. He regularly appears on stage to perform solo parts with the leading orchestras in Poland, as well as in several chamber ensembles, including TWOgether Duo with cellist Magdalena Bojanowicz, and duos with pianist Marek Bracha

Lukasz Kuropaczewski attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he studied under the tutelage of world-renowned musician Manuel Barrueco. He has has toured extensively in Europe, USA, Canada, South America and Japan. Also, he has appeared in music centers in Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus, Germany, France, Spain, Hungary, Canary Islands, Iceland, Greece, England, Japan, Panama, Canada and the USA.
