Labor Day 2017: What's Closed In Shaker Heights

Will trash collection be delayed? Are schools out? Find out.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Labor Day is Monday and several city buildings will be closed for the holiday. All city offices will be closed for the holiday. Police and fire administrative offices will also be closed on Sept. 4, but emergency services will operate like usual.

Shaker Heights Schools will be closed for Labor Day. So parents should make plans to keep children entertained somehow.

Trash collection will also be delayed by one day. For example, Monday collection will be on Tuesday instead.
