Little Italy's Feast of the Assumption 2013: Where to Park, How to Go and More
Festival is Aug. 15 to 18 at Mayfield and Murray Hill Roads

This weekend marks the 115th annual Feast of the Assumption Festival in Little Italy, just down the street from Shaker Heights.
The festival — four days of carnival rides, food, drinks and entertainment — started Thursday with a mass and a solemn procession through the neighborhood.
It wraps up with a candlelight procession and fireworks Sunday evening. Click here for a full schedule.
Mayfield Road in Little Italy is closed for the duration of the festival. Admission is free, and food and carnival games costs vary.
Pay lots are available on the outskirts of the neighborhood — a $5 lot on Overlook south of Edgehill, or an $8 lot on Euclid Avenue near 117th, for example — but street parking nearby is hard to come by and often metered.
The Rapid's Red Line will drop visitors off at Euclid and E. 120th or RTA's bus #9 runs right through Little Italy. Click here to use the RTA's trip planner.
