Man Attacked, Robbed Outside Shaker Heights Gas Station
Police said a man was thrown to the ground and attacked on Sunday morning. His attacker stole money from the man and then took off.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A man was thrown to the ground, assaulted, and robbed on Sunday in Shaker Heights. Police said approximately $140 was stolen during the incident.
The robbery happened at about 11:15 a.m., outside the BP-711 gas station on Chagrin Boulevard. Police have requested the business' surveillance camera footage, which may have captured the incident.
A man outside the gas station was attacked by an unknown man. The attacker threw the man to the ground, fought him, and then stole the money, police told Patch.

The robbed man was OK after the attack, police noted.

It's unclear if the attacker got into a nearby car, or if he merely took off on foot. Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
