More Details On Possible Murder-Suicide In Shaker Heights

Law enforcement have identified the four people found dead in a home in Shaker Heights.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office has identified the four people found dead inside a Shaker Heights home on Sunday.

John Tobin, 57, Regina Tobin, 58, and Graham Tobin, 15, and Natalie Tobin, 15, were found dead inside a South Woodland home on Sunday afternoon. Shaker Heights police said they are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.

At 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, police were asked to do a welfare check by a relative of John Tobin. The relative said they received an email which read: "Please call Shaker Police. The key is under the front mat. It's safe for them to enter. They will know what to do. No words can assuage the pain I caused you. Know that it was from love. Forgive me, I love you. Know that we are together forever."

Officers got to the home on South Woodland Road at 2:20 p.m.

When police got inside, they found four people dead, two adults and two teenagers. Those four people have now been identified as the Tobins.

There were no signs of forced entry at the house and police said there are no additional suspects. Investigators believe this is a possible murder-suicide.

On Monday morning, Shaker Heights police released the 911 call that sent them to the home.
