New Electric Aggregation Rate Offer Through NOPEC Ends Oct. 31

New pricing options offer stability in prices, but could incur cancellation fees..

The Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council recently announced new prices that could provide Shaker residents with an alternative to the existing discount they may already receive.

Shaker Heights is a member of NOPEC's Electric Aggregation Program, which serves residential and small business customers.  Shaker residents participate in this program unless they have opted out.

The Electric Aggregation Program offers a discount on electric power. That discount is a guaranteed 6 percent off CEI's "Price to Compare" for the generation portion of the electric bill for residential customers, and 4 percent for small business/commercial customers.
