Nina Turner Announces Ohio Secretary of State Bid
Democratic senator known for outspoken nature likely to face Republican incumbent Jon Husted

Ohio Sen. Nina Turner (D—Cleveland) announced this morning that she is running for Ohio Secretary of State, The Columbus Dispatch reports.
Turner, who has represented Beachwood, Shaker Heights, parts of Cleveland and other communities in the Ohio Senate since 2008, will run against Republican incumbent Jon Husted if she wins the primary.
The Plain Dealer reports that no other prominent Democrat has announced a run.
The outspoken senator made national headlines late last year when she wore a tee-shirt that read "GOP: Get Out of my Panties" to a press conference about the Ohio budget bill that could defund Planned Parenthood.
Do you think Turner would make a good Secretary of State?
