Ohioan Convicted For Robbing Credit Union In Shaker Heights
Richode Meredith-Hill was found guilty of robbing a credit union in Shaker Heights and a credit union in Willoughby.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Richode Meredith-Hill was found guilty Friday of robbing credit unions in Shaker Heights and Willoughby. He will be sentenced on January 10, 2020.
Meredith-Hill robbed the Buckeye State Credit Union on Chagrin Boulevard in Shaker Heights on April 3, 2017. That same day, he went to Willoughby and robbed the Cardinal Community Credit Union on Euclid Avenue, according to trial testimony.
Meredith-Hill was one of three people involved in the robbery in Shaker Heights, according to the Department of Justice. He was also found guilty of aiding and abetting his compatriots.

He was investigated by the FBI and police departments in Cleveland, Shaker Heights, Euclid, Willoughby and Wickliffe. He was then taken into custody and charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence.
A federal jury convicted Meredith-Hill on Friday.

The case was prosecuted as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a gun violence reduction program run by the Department of Justice. The program targets armed criminals for federal prosecution.
