Package Thieves Caught In Shaker Heights, Police Say
With public help, the Shaker Heights police were able to catch a pair of suspected package thieves.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Shaker Heights police have tracked down two suspected package thieves.
Over the past several weeks, multiple residents have reported packages missing from their homes. Police suspected someone was snatching the packages and driving off.
Police shared information on the thefts with the public and the community responded. With tips from the public, investigators tracked down the truck used by the package thieves.

Two people were taken into custody and several stolen packages were recovered by police, the department announced on Facebook.
However, investigation into the package thieves continue. Anyone who has recently had a package stolen from their home should contact Shaker Heights Police at 216-491-1234 to report their stolen property.
