Plain Dealer Delivery Man Says Guy Tried To Rob Him

A Plain Dealer delivery driver told Shaker Heights Police that a man tried to rob him in the early morning of Aug. 3.
The delivery driver stopped a police officer and said the man did not take anything, and he described the suspect.
Police found the man nearby, but the newspaper delivery man only told police "that's him" and then drove off, leaving police without a witness.
No charges were filed.
