Sell Out: Shaker Heights Vs Garfield Basketball Tickets Gone

The epic showdown between the two teams will see two of Ohio's most dynamic scorers face off. No wonder the game sold out.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Tickets to Wednesday's basketball game between Shaker Heights and Garfield Heights have sold out, the school district announced on Tuesday morning. Both teams are undefeated and are considered top five squads in Northeast Ohio. For those that still want to watch the game, but can't get in the doors, a live stream of the game will be provided on Boxcast.

Adding more spice to the game, there's the little issue of a match-up between Shaker senior Christian Guess, who scored 57 points against Mentor last week, and Garfield's Demetrius "Meechie" Johnson Jr., who scored 50 points against Benedictine this season.

Both Guess and Johnson have already received offers from Division I programs, with Johnson getting an offer from perennial powerhouse Louisville. Guess has received offers from Kent State, James Madison, DePaul and more. If both high schoolers keep putting up 50-point performances, expect the list of potential suitors to grow.
