Shaker Arts Council Announces Stay-In-Place Photo Project

With many Ohioans obeying the governor's stay-at-home order, the Shaker Arts Council is encouraging unique art projects.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Heights Art Council is rolling out a new initiative as a response to the changes brought about by the new coronavirus outbreak: Stay-in-Place Productions. The group said it wants to build community through arts during this trying time.

The Stay-in-Place activity is to collect and exhibit relevant images seen throughout Shaker Heights. Residents are being asked to take pictures of messages on doors and sidewalks, list the neighborhood where the image is and then submit the pictures to an online gallery.

To submit an image, Shaker residents should email the image to info@shakerartscouncil.org.
