Shaker Arts Council Needs Instructors

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH -From Shaker Arts Council: Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) seeks artists and artisans to instruct community art classes. SHAC is presenting these classes through the Shaker Heights Department of Recreation in the Fall of 2018. These classes can cover any artistic genre, e.g., dance, jewelry making, painting, writing, improvisation, music theory, scrapbooking, or even juggling. Classes can be 4, 6, or 8 sessions depending on the instructor’s preference. The application deadline is March 30, 2018. Applications will be reviewed by a SHAC selection committee. Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) is a volunteer nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the cultural fabric of Shaker Heights by establishing the arts as a vibrant and integral part of the community.
