Shaker Heights Residents Can Schedule Vaccine Appointments
The COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to certain Shaker Heights residents by University Hospitals staff.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Shaker Heights residents and other Northeast Ohioans who are 80 or older can now schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
The vaccines are being administered by University Hospitals, the city announced. Vaccines can only be received by appointment only, no walk-ups will be accepted. Appointments can be scheduled online.
Vaccinations will be administered at the UH Management Services Center, 3605 Warrensville Center Rd. in Shaker Heights.

Every week moving forward, the vaccine will be available to new age groups. Next week, Ohioans 75 and older can receive the vaccine. The week after that, Ohioans 70 and older can receive the vaccine, and one week after that, Ohioans 65 and older can receive the vaccine.
The vaccine is also available for Ohioans who have serious, chronic illness; and school teachers and staff.

Any Ohioan who is eligible to receive the vaccine in Ohio's Phase 1B rollout can pre-register with University Hospitals. The hospital system will pre-register individuals when it it time to schedule an appointment. All appointments will be based on vaccine availability and Ohio Department of Health guidelines.
