Shaker Joint Facilities Task Force hiring to develop and execute

Here are highlights of the April 15 Joint Facilities Task Force meeting, made up of members from the City, Schools and Library.

The Shaker League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization. Members attend City, School and Library meetings and write observer reports. Here are the highlights of the April 15 Joint Facilities Task Force meeting, made up of members from the City, Schools and Library.

  • The goal of the Task Force is to find ways to optimize use of facilities of the three bodies (City, Schools, Library)
  • A program manager has been hired
  • Consultant companies are being interviewed who'll develop a Facilities Master Plan for the three taxing bodies (City, Schools, Library)
  • The first draft of a plan should be available by year end
  • Meetings and interviews for public comment will be scheduled over the summer
