Shaker Library Begns Curbside Pickup June 1

Library staff is committed to providing safe access to library material

Shaker Library begins Curbside Pickup by appointment Monday, June 1 at both libraries. Hours are 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Friday and Saturday. Library staff is committed to providing safe access to physical library material through its curbside pickup service. Please be aware that only items located at the pickup library location are eligible for holds.

How to Request Library Material

Library cardholders can request items by phone or online. To request items by phone, call Main Library at 216-991-2030 or Bertram Woods Branch at 216-991-2421 to request up to 10 Shaker Library-owned items per day, per account. Provide your name, phone number, and library card number. Library staff will gather your items and call to schedule a pickup time and give you an order number.

Cardholders can also request Shaker Library-owned items from shakerlibrary.org or via the CLEVNET app. Please note that only items located at the pickup library location will be eligible for holds. Once your items are available you will be notified and you can call the library to schedule a pickup time and receive your order number.

When you arrive, pull into a numbered parking space and open your trunk. If you are on foot or bicycle, please remain six feet away from the pickup table. Call the phone number on the sign to let us know you’ve arrived, with your name, order number, and number of your parking space.

Pickup Your Items Curbside

Please wait in your car while a staff member places your items in your trunk and closes it. If you are on foot or bicycle, please remain six feet away from the pickup table until the staff member has placed your items on the table.
