Shaker Police Officer Accused Of Making Obscene Gesture
A Shaker Heights police officer has been accused of making an obscene gesture toward protesters in Cleveland.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — An investigation is underway after a Shaker Heights police officer was accused of making an obscene gesture toward protesters during Tuesday night's debate in Cleveland.
The officer was working security in University Circle, where several protests were held in conjunction with the evening's debate between President Donald Trump and challenger Joe Biden.
While riding in a security vehicle, a group of officers rode past protesters. There have been reports that one of the officers from Shaker Heights may have made an obscene gesture. Shaker Heights police said they are investigating the incident.

Protests in University Circle were concentrated around Wade Lagoon. Black Lives Matter Cleveland drew a crowd of approximately 1,000 people, while Refuse Fascism held a similar protest nearby.
