Week 7 High School Football Rankings: Where is Shaker Heights?

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - There was little movement among the top five in Division 1, Region 1 this week. All of the teams at the top of the mountain claimed victories over their opponents, creating a stalemate. However, even with all of the top five winning, St. Ed's still jumped one spot from four to three.

For Shaker Heights, this weekend provided a bump in the rankings. After taking a tumble following a loss to Mentor, Shaker rebounded by beating Elyria in a tight game last Saturday. The team will be in action again on Oct. 8 when they take on Brunswick.

The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The full region 1 rankings are below:
