Police Investigating Attempted Robbery at Chase Bank on Kent Rd.

Tips can remain anonymous and reward money is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction.

STOW, OH — Stow Police are investigating the attempted robbery on Monday afternoon at the Chase Bank at 4499 Kent Road in Stow.

The Stow Sentry reports that a white male, approximately 5' 4" with a thin build entered the bank at around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon and demanded a significant sum of money. The teller told the man that she didn't have the money and the man fled on foot east on Kent Rd.

The FBI assisted Stow police at the scene but after searching the area, the suspect was not found. No injuries were reported and no weapon was discovered.
