Stow Boxer to be Recognized at Friday Football Game
NABO & USBA Welterweight champion Shawn Porter
Stow alum and NABO & USBA Welterweight boxing champion Shawn Porter will be at Friday night's football game between Stow-Munroe Falls and Shaker Heights.
Porter, who defeated Julio Diaz Sept. 12 in Las Vegas for the title, will be introduced during pregame festivities.
The 2006 Stow graduate was a standout on the football field, where he was a two-time All WRC Running Back.
His pro boxing record stands at 22-0-1 with 14 knockouts.
