March Mayor Letter
Dear Stow Residents,
Find out what's happening in Stowfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
Finally, spring is in the air!
Great things are happening in our City! We have so much to be proud of and so much to look forward to; after all, we are tradition centered, and future focused.
I am pleased to announce that the City will kick off its largest road improvement project in history. Beginning this spring, a 4.3 million dollar enhanced program will bring repairs and improvements to roadways throughout the city. We will soon be starting a road improvement project that concentrates on residential roadways throughout the city in a significant way.
Of the project’s planned budget of 4.3 million dollars, $1.3 million is a carryover from the 2020 project, and $3 million has been designated for the 2021 project. The project should be completed by the end of 2021.
This month is Women’s History Month, and in honor of that, we are holding an Art Show in our community! This event is brought to you by our very own Stow Arts Commission. Level Ground: A Stow Celebration of Women in the Arts started Monday, March 1, and runs throughout March. Artists are sharing their pieces throughout businesses in Stow. We are so thankful for the wonderful artists that are participating in this show, and to those businesses that are exhibiting. Visit https://stowohio.org/women-in-the-arts/ for information and Passport for the event.
Sincerely,
Mayor John Pribonic
