Stow: State Route 8 Construction Update

Heads up, Summit County! Beginning on Sunday, February 28, State Route 8 southbound between SR 303 and Graham Rd. will be split into contra-flow and the following ramps will be closed through late April.

During the 2021 construction season, the $58.6 million project will focus on the reconstruction of the SR 8 Southbound lanes between Graham Rd. and SR 303.

Beginning on Sunday, February 28, State Route 8 southbound traffic will be split into two separate lanes. THe left lane will be crossed over onto State Route 8 northbound, while the right lane will use the State Route 8 southbound median lane.

*Also beginning on February 28th, the following ramps will be CLOSED.

The ramp from State Route 8 southbound to Steels Corners Rd. will be closed through late April. The detour will be State Route 8 southbound to Graham Rd. to Wyoga Lake Rd., to Steels Corners Rd.

The ramp from Steels Corners Rd. to State Route 8 southbound will be closed through late April. The detour will be Steels orners Rd. to Wyoga Lake Rd., to State Route 8 southbound.
