Woman Tries to Steal Hundreds of Dollars in Groceries

A Kent woman has pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing hundreds of dollars worth of groceries from a Stow store.
Stow Police arrested Kristeen L. Pascoe, 45, of 464 S. Francis St., Kent, OH, on charges of stealing nearly $300 in groceries from the Kent Road Giant Eagle.
An employee of the grocery store told police that Pascoe tried to take $291 worth of items from the store on the morning of May 29.
She was charged with theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Pascoe pleaded not guilty to the charge June 6 before Stow Municipal Court Judge Kim Hoover.
Her case is set for a pre-trial hearing in July.
