Busy weekend ahead for the area’s college sports teams

Come rain or shine, a busy weekend is in store for the area’s college sports teams.

Tulsa’s Track & Field squad travel to Pittsburg, Kansas for the Crimson & Gold Invitational Indoor meet. The first event toes the line at 11:30am on Saturday.

The Golden Hurricane’s basketball teams also see action. The men’s team take on #16 Kansas State at the Reynolds Center at 3:30pm Saturday. The women’s team travel to Jonesboro on Sunday to face Arkansas State. That tip is scheduled for 2:00pm.

Northeastern State’s basketball teams are in Joplin Saturday to face Missouri Southern. The women’s game tips off at 1:30pm with the men’s game to follow at 3:30pm.

On Sunday Rogers State women’s basketball welcome Ada’s East Central Tigers to Claremore – the game rescheduled to Sunday to avoid potential weather issues. The game tips at 2:00pm.
