Tulsa's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Rescheduled

Tulsa's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.

TULSA, OK — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Tulsa.

Although Tulsa’s fireworks, parade and 5K event have been canceled, they have been replaced with Run OK Virtual, a virtual race that includes several distances as low as a 5k and as high as 50 miles. The race began on May 21, and will end on July 4.

The Folds of Honor, Tulsa's biggest and most spectacular Independence Day event is now set to take place on September 7 — Labor Day.
