Video Shows Mouse In Wendy's Hamburger Bun Packaging
"I go in and I see it's moving around in the bag and you can see like rat feces and all that and it was just disgusting."
CATOOSA, OK — Wendy's is reportedly investigating after a worker at one of its Oklahoma restaurants shared video of a live mouse inside hamburger bun packaging. Employee Skylar Frame told media outlets she saw the mouse crawling on the buns Thursday.
"I just hear 'mouse, mouse, mouse!' I'm like, we do not have mice in this store, what? I go back there and the mouse is moving around in the big buns," Frame told KRON-TV.
She told KOTV-TV there were "rat feces" in the bag too. She decided to share the video when management decided not to take action.

Fellow employee Samantha Neibelink posted a video earlier this month of a rodent crawling around and eating burger buns.
"The next time I found an actual live mouse in there, crawling around, eating all the burger buns. She told me 'just take a new rack and get the buns underneath.' That was just disgusting because last time there was rat feces it was dribbling underneath every other rack," Niebelink told KOTV-TV.

When workers informed management about the possible health hazard, they told media outlets they were told to continue serving customers.
Neibelink said she was told to just get a new rack and pick out the buns the mouse hadn't touched.
Employee Vincent Vang told KOTV-TV there was "no stopping" — they had to "keep going."
A spokeswoman for Wendy's told Patch in a statement they're investigating.
"Our franchisee is aware of this situation and is taking this matter very seriously" the statement read. "They immediately launched an investigation with their pest control vendor and internal quality assurance experts to ensure immediate and appropriate action is taken. We have stringent procedures in place to ensure safe and well-maintained restaurants."
Wendy's said the local health department visited the restaurant Friday, conducted a "thorough inspection" and uncovered no violations.
