1 Driver Injured In Crash On NE Evergreen Road In Hillsboro
The crash, if nothing else, serves as a warning to other drivers to be mindful of changing weather and wet road conditions, police said.

HILLSBORO, OR — Hillsboro firefighters needed to cut a driver from her vehicle after she reportedly crashed into a fence on Northwest Evergreen Road, along the north side of Hillsboro Airport. Hillsboro Fire announced the crash on Twitter just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
The eastbound lanes of Northwest Evergreen were closed while firefighters performed the emergency extraction. The unidentified woman was reportedly taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Speed and road conditions are being considered factors in the crash, according to Hillsboro police spokesman Lt. Henry Reimann, though no citations have been issued at this time.

"This is the first real wet day we've had in awhile, so it's important for drivers to be mindful of road conditions," Reimann told Patch.
