27 Pounds Of Meth, $6,700 In Cash Seized During Drug Bust

HILLSBORO, OR — Washington County deputies seized 27 pounds of methamphetamine and $6,700 in cash during a traffic stop on Highway 219 outside Hillsboro this past weekend. The bust was part of an ongoing multi-agency narcotics investigation into drug activity that's spread across multiple cities and counties in the region.
One person was arrested during the Oct. 28 drug bust, but Washington County Sheriff's officials will not identify the suspect while the investigation continues.
The traffic stop was reportedly initiated by officials with the Westside Interagency Narcotics Team (WIN), which is made up by deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, officers from the Beaverton and Hillsboro police departments, and personnel from the Oregon National Guard and FBI. Oregon State Police troopers were said to have assisted with the traffic stop as well.
